His mother, Mattie Boyd Vick Bentley, cared for Robert, his brother and three sisters. She taught him how to be compassionate and to appreciate traditional family values.

Bill Johnson is the son of a career army soldier and grew up at Ft Benning and Keesler Air Force bases. When his father retired, the family settled in Birmingham in 1973. He attended John Carroll high school and received a full academic scholarship to Spring Hill College in Mobile on a pre-med track.

Roy Moore was born in Etowah County Alabama. He is a West Point graduate and served his country as a Captain in the Vietnam War. During his professional career he has worked as a professional kick boxer, and cowboy on a 42,000 acre cattle ranch in Australia. Roy Moore completed his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1977, and was elected as Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court in the year 2000. As Chief Justice, Roy Moore managed an annual budget of 160 million dollars and 2,200 employees.

James Samuel Potts, Jr was born in the West End Baptist Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama in 1940. He is a fifth generation native. His parents are James and Margaret Earl Potts, now deceased. He attended Montevallo Schools (Kindergarten through High School) beginning in 1947 and graduating from High School in May, 1959.
